Emotion and intellect

This edition includes two articles about the books that musicians read. The first, signed by Marcel Weiss, shows us how important it is, for some of them, to conduct musicological research, to penetrate the atmosphere and the environment in which composers lived, or, more generally, to develop their culture by reading great novels, poetry or philosophy.
