Resolutely Classical!

In the beginning there was Monteverdi, whose 450th anniversary we are about to celebrate. With him, and thanks to at least three of his operas and the Vespers for the Blessed Virgin, this repertoire established what has come to be called "classical music" or even "great music", going on to be illustrated Bach, Mozart, Beethoven and many others.
